The Research Planning Department collects and arranges such information as books, data and other materials on vocational rehabilitation and disability employment as well as technical-aids concerning vocational rehabilitation so as to provide them for use by persons with disabilities, employers and personnel in charge of vocational rehabilitation.

The Book Library is located at the 7th floor of the NIVR building.As a specialized library storing numberless books on vocational rehabilitation, disability employment and occupations, literatures mainly concerning psychology, education, medicine, engineering, government publications, specialized magazines (Domestic and Overseas) and audio-visual materials, it provides general public with services of access to and lending of them. It also provide a reference service such as survey of books and materials as well as counseling.
It opens from Monday to Friday (9:15 am - 5:00 pm).(except the National Holidays, Dec. 29 - Jan. 3 and Inventory-Check period) Free access is assured. In case of lending, however, contact to the Information Support Div., Research Planning Dept.
