Research Meetings |
The NIVR holds the Vocational Rehabilitation Research Meetings every year to contribute in promoting disability employment by improving quality of researches / practices on vocational rehabilitation and of disability employment / work techniques through wide dissemination of the results of researches and practices on vocational rehabilitation and open exchanges of opinions and experiences among participants.
In addition to presentations of research results by the NIVR staff, various efforts at the Large Region Vocational Centers, the Local Vocational Centers, public employment security offices, welfare, medical, health, educational organizations and facilities and employment examples at work places are presented. Aside from presentation (oral or visual), forum, panel discussion and workshop are also held.
In October of 2002, the seminar as part of "Osaka Forum" in the name of the International Research Meeting on Vocational Rehabilitation was held by JEED / NIVR. The Research Meeting includes special lectures by a specialist of ILO and Japan, four international workshops, and presentations of Japanese researchers on the results of their studies.
