Universal Work Database |
The Universal Work Database is a comprehensive web-based database designed for integrative approach of assessments and supports of vocational disabilities. It integrates information of diseases/disorders/impairments, occupations, supports and resources using the conceptual framework of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). The public trial version is available for community-based service providers with a disclaimer as a research prototype. We welcome any comments or requests from trial users, which will be considered as future needs of social supports for persons with disabilities. Also information from the users are purposed to be used for continuous update of the database.
Currently available information:
- Medical/physiological/psychological information: 172 titles of disability/diseases/disorders with 363 subtypes
- Occupational information: 1,166 occupational titles
- Support information: 3,275 support options
- Resources: 2,500 community-based service providers and informational resources on the web
