Tasks / Themes of Researches/Surveys

In accordance with the medium-term plan (2003-2007) by the JEED, the Research Sector conducts surveys and researches with the following tasks prioritized.

1. Vocational characteristics due to diversity of physical, intellectual, mental and other disabilities.
2. Effective vocational rehabilitation techniques matching to various disability characteristics.
3. Technical-aids and software to facilitate persons with disabilities to work.
4. Effective implementation methods for vocational rehabilitation provided by the NIVR in cooperation with the related organizations and facilities.
5. Law systems and policies concerning vocational rehabilitation.
6. Information providing system on vocational rehabilitation.

In accordance with the annual concrete research plan, the Research Sector sets it themes of 10 and more for each year and is now systematically conducting surveys and researches. Generally, it takes a period of 2 to 3 years for research on each theme.
